We want to ensure a great experience for both tutors and students. As such, there are some ground rules we must enforce to make the experience on Find My Tutor for the benefit of everyone.
Be responsive to students. If a potential student sends you a message, it is your responsibility to respond to them in a reasonable amount of time. You will also receive email notifications whenever you get a message so you can keep track of things.
It is against our policy to give out contact info to students, like email or phone numbers. This rule applies for both the private messaging system as well as on the interactive online whiteboard. We have a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence system that scans for this, so please don't try to bypass this rule. Tutors found to be doing so will receive a warning, and if this continues, they will no longer be allowed to tutor with us.
If a student approaches you and gives you their contact info, message us at [email protected] and we'll handle it from there.
